Matched Children

After your Dossier is logged into the CCAA, you begin the second stage of the Chinese adoption process, commonly called "The Waiting Stage". This is often the most difficult part of the process, because families are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their referral or child match. The referral is comprised of a medical profile of each child, a brief biography and at least one photograph. When a family accepts their referral, they begin working with our staff, as we plan and prepare all of the travel details. Our families typically travel to China within 4-8 weeks after receiving their referral.
